Clear repair protection

A 90-day limited warranty on the repair we performed

True One Fix provides a 90-day limited warranty on qualifying replacement parts supplied by us and the workmanship performed as part of the approved repair. Coverage applies to the specific repaired component and service listed on the final invoice—not to the entire computer or to unrelated components.

The 90-day period begins when the completed device is returned to the customer. A warranty concern must be reported within that period and the device must be returned to True One Fix for inspection. Coverage is determined after we verify whether the concern resulted from our workmanship, a covered replacement-part defect, new damage or an unrelated failure. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

What may be covered

Coverage follows the approved repair and invoice

A problem is not automatically approved or denied as a warranty claim. We inspect the computer and compare the reported concern with the original diagnosis, repair, parts, testing notes and condition at pickup.

Covered workmanship

If an installation, connection, reassembly or other workmanship issue from the approved repair causes the same repaired function to fail during normal use, True One Fix may correct that workmanship without an additional labor charge.

Covered replacement parts

A qualifying part supplied and installed by True One Fix that develops a verified defect during normal use within 90 days may be repaired or replaced, subject to inspection and part availability.

Repair-specific coverage

The invoice identifies the covered repair. Replacing a screen, keyboard, charging port, fan, battery, SSD or another component does not create a warranty for every other part of the computer.

Our remedy

For an eligible claim, True One Fix may re-perform the covered labor, repair the covered part or replace it with a reasonably equivalent part. Availability and supplier processing may affect timing.

Inspection first

The device must be examined at our Tampa shop before coverage or a remedy can be confirmed. Photographs, messages or a third-party opinion alone cannot establish the cause.

Separate written terms

If an estimate or invoice clearly states different coverage for a special-order, used, refurbished, customer-supplied, liquid-damaged or other exceptional repair, those disclosed terms apply to that item.

Tamper-evident service labels

Warranty seals help document the repaired area

True One Fix may apply a tamper-evident service label across a removable cover, case seam or repaired area. The label helps document the device condition at pickup and whether the serviced area may have been opened or altered afterward.

A missing, damaged or removed label does not automatically cancel every warranty right. However, evidence that the repaired area was opened, modified, damaged or serviced after pickup may affect coverage when that intervention caused the reported problem or prevents reliable verification of the original repair.

Everyday examples

Screens, keyboards, touchpads and hinges

Replacement screen stops displaying

A replacement display that develops no image, lines, flickering or another verified internal defect during normal use may qualify when there is no new impact, pressure, liquid or enclosure damage.

Screen cracks or pressure marks

New cracked glass, black pressure spots, impact marks, scratches, a bent lid or damage caused by closing an object inside the laptop is accidental physical damage and is not covered.

Replacement keyboard develops a fault

If a supplied replacement keyboard develops nonworking or repeating keys during normal use, the keyboard and installation may qualify after inspection.

Liquid enters the keyboard

Water, coffee, soda, cleaning fluid or any other new liquid entering the keyboard or computer is not a replacement-keyboard defect and is not covered.

Touchpad or palmrest concern

A verified defect in a supplied touchpad or palmrest may qualify. New cracks, dents, stains, liquid, excessive pressure or damage caused by a swollen battery or impact require separate evaluation.

Hinge or enclosure damage

Workmanship that becomes loose may qualify. A forced lid, drop, twisted chassis, broken mounting plastic or continuing use after the hinge begins separating is new physical damage and is not covered.

Connection and power examples

Charging ports, batteries, adapters and power damage

Charging port loses connection

A port supplied or repaired by True One Fix that stops making a normal electrical connection without new physical damage may qualify after the charger, connector and motherboard are tested.

Charging port is physically broken

A bent or broken center pin, forced connector, plug broken inside the port, cable pulled sideways, impact while plugged in or newly loose enclosure is accidental damage and is not covered.

Replacement battery fails

A supplied battery that will not charge, is not detected or develops an abnormal verified defect within 90 days may qualify. Battery diagnosis also requires testing the charger and charging circuit.

Battery runtime and normal wear

Battery runtime varies with age, workload, temperature, settings and charging habits. Normal capacity reduction is not the same as a covered manufacturing defect.

Wrong adapter or power event

Damage caused by an incompatible charger, incorrect voltage, power surge, lightning, damaged cable, generator, outlet or external power source is not covered by the earlier repair.

USB and other ports

A verified workmanship or supplied-part defect may qualify. Bent contacts, foreign objects, forced plugs, broken cables and impact damage do not.

Protect the repaired condition

Contact us before anyone opens the serviced area

If a repaired function develops a problem, stop using the device when continued use could worsen damage and contact True One Fix before attempting disassembly. Do not puncture a swollen battery, force a damaged charging plug, repeatedly power a liquid-exposed computer or continue opening a separating hinge.

Another shop or person may inspect or repair a device, but coverage can be affected if later work damages the serviced area, changes the installed part or makes the original repair impossible to verify. Bring the complete device and any charger, cable, dock or accessory directly related to the symptom.

Additional repair examples

Cooling, storage, motherboards, software and data

Fan and cooling service

A supplied fan that develops a verified electrical or mechanical defect may qualify. Blocked vents, heavy dust, pet hair, smoke residue, foreign objects, liquid or damage from continued overheating are not covered defects.

SSD, memory and storage parts

A supplied SSD or memory module with a verified hardware defect may qualify. Warranty service does not guarantee, replace or reimburse files, software, accounts, licenses or other data stored on a device.

Motherboard and microsoldering

The specific repaired circuit or installed component may qualify. A later failure in another circuit, a new short, surge, liquid event, corrosion or unrelated motherboard component is outside the original repair scope.

Operating system and malware service

We may correct a verified installation error related to our approved software service. New malware, unsafe downloads, password loss, customer configuration changes and later software or driver conflicts are not covered.

Customer-supplied parts

Parts purchased or supplied by the customer are not warranted by True One Fix. Any limited installation-workmanship coverage must be stated on the invoice, and removal or replacement of a defective customer part may require additional labor.

Accessories and external equipment

Chargers, docks, cables, monitors, peripherals and network equipment are covered only when specifically supplied or serviced by True One Fix and listed on the invoice.

What is not covered

New damage and unrelated failures remain separate

Drops, impacts and crushing

New drops, impacts, cracked glass, dents, bent frames, crushed corners, pressure damage and damage during transportation are not covered.

Liquid, moisture and corrosion

New spills, rain, condensation, cleaning liquid, humidity, salt exposure and resulting corrosion are not covered by a previous repair.

Misuse or continued operation

Forcing connectors, obstructing airflow, using unsafe power equipment or continuing to operate a device after a serious warning symptom may create new damage outside coverage.

Pests and contamination

Insects, pest residue, food, smoke, excessive debris, conductive material and other contamination are not covered repair defects.

Unauthorized modification

Damage caused by later disassembly, modification, overclocking, firmware alteration, attempted repair or replacement of the serviced component is not covered.

Unrelated or pre-existing conditions

A new fault in a component that was not repaired, or a condition documented but excluded from the approved estimate, remains outside the warranty for the completed work.

Liquid-damaged devices

Corrosion can continue beyond the visible repair area

Liquid exposure may affect connectors, components and internal board layers that do not fail at the same time. Cleaning or repairing one affected circuit cannot guarantee that every exposed component will remain reliable.

For that reason, a liquid-damage or corrosion repair may have limited or no warranty only when that limitation is disclosed before approval and documented on the estimate or invoice. A later spill or new moisture exposure is always a separate event.

Bring the device and related equipment

Bring the complete computer and any charger, cable, dock or accessory connected to the problem. Provide the repair ticket or invoice when available.

Allow an in-person inspection

We document the current condition and test whether the concern is connected to the covered repair, the installed part, new damage or an unrelated component.

Receive the coverage decision

Warranty questions

Clear answers before requesting a review

Does the 90-day warranty cover my entire computer?

No. It covers qualifying replacement parts supplied by True One Fix and workmanship for the specific approved repair listed on the invoice. Unrelated components and new damage are separate.

Is a cracked replacement screen covered?

A new crack, pressure mark or impact is physical damage and is not covered. A replacement display that fails internally without new physical or liquid damage may qualify after inspection.

Is a keyboard covered after water or coffee is spilled on it?

No. A new spill is accidental liquid damage. A supplied replacement keyboard that develops a verified defect during normal dry use may qualify.

Is a charging port covered if it breaks again?

A verified electrical or workmanship failure during normal use may qualify. A bent pin, forced plug, sideways cable impact or broken connector is new physical damage and is not covered.

Does removing a warranty label automatically cancel all coverage?

No. A missing or damaged label does not automatically cancel every warranty right. Evidence of later opening, alteration or damage may affect coverage when it caused the problem or prevents reliable verification.

Will warranty service recover or replace my files?

No. Parts and workmanship coverage does not guarantee data, applications, accounts or licenses. Maintain a current backup whenever possible.

Can another repair shop open the computer first?

Contact True One Fix first. Later work may affect coverage if it damages or changes the serviced area or makes the original repair impossible to verify.

Do I need an appointment for a warranty review?

Contact the shop before visiting so we can confirm what device, charger and related accessories should be brought for inspection.

Policy relationship

Your repair documents identify the exact covered work

This page is a plain-language summary of the True One Fix 90-day limited repair warranty. The final invoice, approved estimate, signed service terms and any repair-specific written disclosure identify the actual parts, labor and exceptions for a device. If documents conflict, applicable law and the written terms controlling that repair apply.

This policy may be updated for future repairs. The policy and repair documents in effect when the service was completed apply to that repair.

My ASUS ROG Strix G16 had a stubborn thermal-sensor failure that only appeared after long heat-up and cool-down cycles. Leon replaced the thermostat several times, performed extended testing, and kept me updated throughout the process. Intermittent motherboard faults are notoriously difficult to diagnose, yet they stayed committed until they isolated and repaired the underlying issue. Their persistence and technical skill made all the difference. I appreciate the thorough work and the transparency during the entire repair. Great Kudos to Leon for his dedication
