For laptop charging, battery or shutdown problems, bring the normal power adapter. Bring a USB-C or Thunderbolt dock and its power supply when the issue occurs through that dock. For desktops, the tower is usually enough unless the symptom involves a particular monitor, cable or peripheral.

Before leaving South Tampa, confirm the device password process, BitLocker or FileVault recovery information when relevant, and whether important files require backup priority. Do not send sensitive credentials through ordinary email or text.
