A detailed appointment request helps our team understand whether the computer fails constantly or only under certain conditions. Include error messages, recent changes, what you have already tried and any deadline that matters. Photos or short videos can help document intermittent symptoms.
Bring the charger, dock, hub, display cable or power adapter when it may be connected to the problem. This helps us test the same setup instead of guessing from the computer alone.
Separate the computer from the network
A computer that disconnects at home may have a failing wireless card, damaged antenna, driver issue or power-management problem—but the router, internet provider or building coverage can produce similar symptoms. Note whether other devices stay connected and whether the affected computer works normally on another network.
We can diagnose the computer and its adapters at the shop. Router placement, cabling or service-provider problems at the Keystone property may require separate network or ISP support.
Protect what matters
Family photos, business records, schoolwork and locally stored project files can change the safest repair order. Tell us what data matters before approving reinstallations, storage replacement or other work that could affect access.
A device that clicks, disappears from BIOS, freezes during copying or suffered liquid exposure should not be repeatedly powered on. Data recovery is not guaranteed, and the correct approach depends on the drive and device condition.
Prepare larger systems
Shut the system down fully, disconnect external devices and photograph the rear cable layout before moving it. Keep the tower upright and secure it so it cannot slide or tip during the drive.
Tell us about oversized graphics cards, custom liquid cooling, glass panels or loose internal parts. Usually the tower and power cable are enough; bring a monitor only when the symptom appears specifically with that display or cable.
Remote work and managed equipment
For a work computer, provide the employer's IT contact, support ticket, asset tag and approved repair scope. BitLocker, FileVault, MDM, administrator policies or VPN controls may require company participation before storage access or full post-repair testing.
Tell us which applications and files are essential and whether a replacement computer is available. This helps us explain realistic priorities without promising a completion time before diagnosis.
A clear repair path
We record the device, symptoms, condition, accessories and important data.
A technician reproduces the problem when possible and identifies the repair path.
You receive findings and pricing before work beyond the authorized diagnostic amount.
Approved work is completed and relevant functions are checked before pickup.

“Quality service with attentive and honest associates. I took my GPU here after my computer died. The same day, they did a diagnosis of it free of charge. They kept me posted through text and email the whole time, and told me the GPU processor was the issue. Told me up front that repairing it would cost $285, and told me honestly that it may be better to get a new GPU. They helped me a great deal in troubleshooting my PC, and if I ever have an issue with the hardware again, I'm definitely coming back here.”
