Learn morePrepare before leaving Odessa
Send the model, symptoms, recent changes and preferred visit time before traveling. If the fault involves charging, an external display, a dock, Wi-Fi or a specific peripheral, bring the charger, hub, cable, adapter or receiver that may be part of the problem.
A monitor, keyboard and mouse are usually unnecessary unless the symptom occurs only with that equipment. Calling ahead is useful for unusually heavy towers, custom liquid-cooled systems or devices with loose or swollen components.
Explain what the computer protects
A home or remote-work computer may contain business documents, schoolwork, family photos, accounting records and saved application settings. Tell us what matters most and whether a current backup exists before any storage or operating-system work is authorized.
If the drive clicks, disappears, becomes extremely slow or the computer has liquid exposure, avoid repeated startup attempts. Continued use can make some failures worse. Diagnosis should distinguish data-recovery needs from ordinary repair before unnecessary changes are made.
Protect larger systems in transit
Shut the computer down fully, disconnect cables carefully and transport the tower upright when practical. Keep Wi-Fi antennas, glass-panel hardware, small USB receivers and model-specific power adapters together. Secure loose external parts and do not place heavy objects against tempered-glass panels.
Describe recent component upgrades, BIOS changes, overheating, crashes or the exact no-display sequence at check-in. These details help select appropriate power, memory, thermal, GPU and stability tests without requiring unnecessary equipment.
Employer-owned and managed devices
For a company computer, provide the IT contact, support-ticket or reference number, asset tag, approved repair scope and spending limit. BitLocker, FileVault, MDM, VPN requirements and administrator restrictions may require employer participation before diagnosis or post-repair testing can be completed.
Passwords and recovery keys should be shared only through the documented service process, never in public appointment notes. We can record diagnostic findings and completed testing for the employee and authorized IT team.
A documented repair path
1. Advance details — Send the device type, symptoms and preferred drop-off time.
2. Check-in — We record the computer, condition, accessories, data priorities and deadline.
3. Diagnosis — Relevant power, display, storage, thermal, hardware or software behavior is tested.
4. Estimate and approval — Findings, price and expected timing are explained before authorized work.
5. Verification — Repaired functions are checked before pickup, with applicable status updates during the process.

“Quality service with attentive and honest associates. I took my GPU here after my computer died. The same day, they did a diagnosis of it free of charge. They kept me posted through text and email the whole time, and told me the GPU processor was the issue. Told me up front that repairing it would cost $285, and told me honestly that it may be better to get a new GPU. They helped me a great deal in troubleshooting my PC, and if I ever have an issue with the hardware again, I'm definitely coming back here.”
