For laptop or MacBook power, charging and battery problems, bring the charger normally used with the computer. If the issue appears only through a dock, USB hub, external display, cable, storage device or other peripheral, include that equipment and its power supply. This helps us test the same setup you use at home or work.

Desktop and gaming PC customers normally bring the tower unless a monitor or accessory is directly involved. Before transport, shut the computer down, disconnect cables carefully and keep Wi-Fi antennas, small wireless receivers and special adapters together. If the case contains a heavy graphics card or custom liquid-cooling hardware, contact the shop before moving it.

If the computer supports remote work, tell us which applications, VPN access, meetings or files are time-sensitive. Personal passwords should be handled only through the documented check-in process; do not place passwords in public appointment notes.

For an employer-owned or managed computer, bring the company IT contact, support ticket, asset tag, approved repair scope and spending authorization. BitLocker, FileVault, MDM or administrator restrictions may require the organization’s participation before testing or repair can continue.
