Learn morePrepare before leaving Trinity
Send the model number, exact symptoms, recent changes and preferred visit time in advance. If the problem appears only with a charger, USB-C dock, external display, Wi-Fi adapter or another peripheral, bring the related power supply, cable, hub, receiver or adapter.
A monitor, keyboard and mouse are usually unnecessary unless the fault occurs only with that equipment. Contact the shop first for unusually heavy towers, custom liquid-cooled systems, loose glass panels or swollen batteries so the device can be transported safely.
Reduce avoidable work interruption
A computer used from a Trinity home office may be the only access point for meetings, accounting, client files, VPN software and specialized applications. Explain the deadline, whether another computer is available and which functions must be verified before pickup.
For an employer-owned system, provide the IT contact, support ticket, asset tag and authorized repair scope. BitLocker, FileVault, MDM, VPN policies or administrator restrictions may require company participation before storage access or complete post-repair testing.
Protect what cannot be replaced
Tell us whether current backups exist and which business documents, school files, family photos or application data matter most. A repair decision should distinguish ordinary operating-system trouble from a failing drive or a separate data-recovery need.
If storage clicks, disappears, becomes extremely slow, or the computer suffered liquid exposure, stop unnecessary startup attempts. Repeated use can worsen some failures. Passwords and recovery keys should be shared only through the documented service process, not in public appointment notes.
Transport larger computers carefully
Shut the system down fully, disconnect cables carefully and keep Wi-Fi antennas, glass-panel hardware, USB receivers and model-specific power adapters together. Transport the tower upright when practical and prevent other objects from pressing against tempered glass.
At check-in, describe component upgrades, BIOS changes, overheating, crashes and the exact no-display or restart sequence. These details help select relevant power, memory, thermal, GPU and stability tests without requiring unrelated accessories.
A documented repair path
1. Advance details — Send the computer model, symptoms and preferred drop-off time.
2. Check-in — We record condition, accessories, data priorities and timing needs.
3. Diagnosis — Relevant power, display, storage, thermal, hardware or software behavior is tested.
4. Estimate and approval — Findings, price and expected timing are explained before authorized work.
5. Verification — Repaired functions are checked before pickup, with applicable status updates during the process.

“Quality service with attentive and honest associates. I took my GPU here after my computer died. The same day, they did a diagnosis of it free of charge. They kept me posted through text and email the whole time, and told me the GPU processor was the issue. Told me up front that repairing it would cost $285, and told me honestly that it may be better to get a new GPU. They helped me a great deal in troubleshooting my PC, and if I ever have an issue with the hardware again, I'm definitely coming back here.”
